You can provide financial support or volunteer your time. You can even offer a hug, a conversation or a shoulder to cry on. Whenever you get involved with The Sandbox, you are letting families in our community know that they are not alone.

Each holiday season, we aim to bring hope to families going through difficult times. If you have a desire to provide our families with those critical needs, we could use your help in a variety of ways.
What does it take to make an impact in someone else’s life? As it turns out, it’s simple: LOVE. This year, you’ve given your love in the form of your time, talents and resources and our families in The Sandbox have felt it. Because of your investment, they feel loved and know that they don’t have to face these challenges alone. The ripple effect of your giving will be felt for years to come, as one kind act leads to another.

This program has been designed to motivate, educate and support youth in our area to serve within their own communities in ways that utilize their gifts and talents. Each year, The Sandbox intakes a new class of Youth who are required to complete an application, interview and receive training to walk alongside our Honorees, both on their day-to-day journey and leading up to Prom.It begins with our Event Youth and progresses to our Senior Youth Mentors. The Youth program was established with the following objectives:
- Develop Empathy and compassion for others
- Build self-esteem and motivation
- Develop skills in commitment, social responsibility, creativity and critical thinking
- Become leaders by motivating and guiding other
