Today, our work continues through The Sandbox Scholars Program—supporting both emerging leaders and purpose-driven professionals. Whether they’re launching community projects, pursuing college dreams, or showing up for others in quiet but meaningful ways, we’re here to amplify their impact.

Fun-loving Leland is a nine-year-old, active young man who loves to draw, play math games, swim, and unravel the Rubik’s Cube. Leland was diagnosed as an infant with a rare cancer—acute myeloid leukemia, which starts in the blood-forming cells of the bone marrow.
